There are a few simple, yet potent statements of fact which come to mind on the topic of “attitude”:
Attitude is an indicative vibe which most often bears witness as to the heart-composition of a person, whether a person is cognizant of it or not.
Others often utilize a person’s attitude as a measuring instrument for the true or camouflaged personality, ability, or character a person manifests.
Four aspects of attitude
Attitude is a malleable vehicle that tends to have a complex and highly contagious mode of transportation. It is a vehicle whose pathway towards reaching a predictable destination can produce any of the following:
- An enduring energy reaps timely success by the sowing of a genuinely positive attitude
- A depression reaps delayed success due to the sowing of a wavering positive/negative attitude
- A distortion reaps a false sense of success (having no clear evidence) due to the sowing of a deceptive positive attitude
- A termination reaps an early death of potential success due to the sowing of a negative attitude
Battle For Your Life encourages people to either develop or maintain a positive attitude. In addition, many people consistently testify that the right attitude reaps many benefits, including being a key contributing factor to personal success. I want to encourage you to develop a positive attitude because of all the wholistic benefits. These benefits overflow into every aspect of your life, including but not limited to your overall physical, emotional/psychological, relational, spiritual, academic and financial health. If your attitude is not genuine, then the possibilities of depression, distortion or termination (as referenced above) will eventually manifest.

What a genuinely positive attitude does for you
A genuinely positive attitude does not mean that you believe any of the following:
- “I will not fail.”
- “I am perfect.”
- “I am oblivious.”
- “All things will work out just as I have planned.”
This type of attitude means that in spite of your current situation, you are intentionally firm in your beliefs. We teach that the Word of God is the solid foundation for a positive attitude. No matter what may be presently true, you can sow an attitude of positive genuineness because God gives you his perfect hope, strength, and peace. Your attitude will strengthen your endurance and support to withstand the tests, trials, and challenges which await you, as you learn to rely on God more and more.
Maintaining a genuinely positive attitude reaps endless benefits. These benefits start from within yourself and flow out into every other area of your life. A positive attitude produces seeds of hope for the benefits of others as well!
